“My focus this year is growing my surface design business, and when I saw Jillian's coaching session offer, I wanted to jump in. It did not disappoint! Before the Zoom call, I received a questionnaire that ensured we both understood where we would focus on the call. The portfolio review was super and gave me clarity on which industries I can target right away and where I have to be a little stronger. I also gained insider information about how to pitch for brands and how to set up a pitching schedule. Jillian's vibrant style got me all excited about building and promoting my brand, and I walked away from our 1-on-1 coaching call with actionable steps to make it happen. I recommend Jillian's coaching session to everyone who needs a little push and a better understanding of navigating this art business and what makes a good portfolio. "

"I’m incredibly grateful that I could book a coaching call with Jillian for a portfolio review. Before the call I was very unsure of my abilities as a surface pattern designer and the quality of my work. Jillian’s approach to coaching was balanced, encouraging, and thoughtful. She is skilled in encouraging you to continue while providing a detailed and empathetic critique of areas to improve in. I love that she had a questionnaire to complete before the Zoom call. This was instrumental in focusing the call and in clarifying my goals for my future as a surface designer. Jillian was generous with her knowledge of fabric companies and pitching. I came away from the call with a clear list of actionable next steps. I love Jillian’s enthusiasm, sense of humour, and the care she has for her coaching clients. Her guidance and support have been invaluable."

“Jillian’s feedback on my artwork and portfolio was incredibly thoughtful and constructive. I was genuinely impressed by how closely she reviewed my work beforehand - she really took the time to understand my style and creative vision. That level of personalized attention isn’t something you always get in 1-1 coaching sessions! Also, her extensive knowledge about pitching to companies for licensing was invaluable. Jillian’s sweet and encouraging personality made the experience even better. After our session, I felt more motivated than ever to keep pursuing my journey in surface design. If you’re feeling stuck or unsure about your next steps, I can’t recommend a coaching session with Jillian enough!”
